Hear it from Mrs.Vimala

I am Vimala Srinivasan, aged 46 yrs, a successful Software Consultant working in leading MNC.

I am a proud mother of two children - Divyaa who is 17 Yrs and Hetesh who is 12 Yrs. My journey with fitness was interesting... When I was pregnant with my daughter, had GD and hence I was forced to get into excercise/walking to have normal delivery. With God's Grace and with all my efforts, Was successful in delivering the baby girl normally. Felt happy. But, I always had a fear of Diabetes as my parents are diabetic, particularly my mom is Diabetic for the past 40 yrs on insulin. Hence, I have decided/forced to continue stay fit..

I feel making decision is always easy, staying on it is something we need to check out. I was not fine to starve and not comfortable straining myself. Especially, after 35 years, the body undergo metabolism/harmonal changes which needs a holistic approach to handle it. My lipid profile was not satisfactory. Then, I found a way to handle it. Good Sleep is a must... Good exercise is a must (No need to go for a GYM, you can do from where ever you are at your convenient and at your capability)... Good Nutrition plays a major role and spending good time with people having Positive mental attitude is another key... Thank god for blessing me with all these 4 pillars. Most importantly, we need to change our food habits with proper and balanced nutrition. It is a lifestyle change.

# Today I will do what others won’t, so tomorrow I can accomplish what others can’t.

Today, I could inspire lot of people positively with the experience in my fitness Journey and with positive feedback that I receive. The best gift that we could give to the next generation is 'Health' by living and by guiding them. Finally, Staying Fit and Healthy is a choise. We can do by loving it or by hating it. When we do with love and dedication, we will start cherish our journey and inspire people. Stay healthy !! Stay fit !! Luv you all :)
