Hear it from Mrs.Muthulakshmi

I am Muthulakshmi, mother of 2 sons Akani Castro ( age 27) and Cillu Magellan ( age 22)

When I was my heaviest I weighed over 90 kgs I was an emotional eater and I did not know much about nutrition and healthy cooking. I started suffering with PCOS, hormonal imbalance and severe osteoarthritis and so on. I was a prisoner im my own body. One fine day, I decided to work on myself. I started counting my calories and concentrating on micro and macro nutrients. With effective lifestyle modifications, proper nutrition and modest exercise I am down to 60 kgs now and with a stamina to cycle 100kms with my son.

I feel making decision is always easy, staying on it is something we need to check out. I was not fine to starve and not comfortable straining myself. Especially, after 35 years, the body undergo metabolism/harmonal changes which needs a holistic approach to handle it. My lipid profile was not satisfactory. Then, I found a way to handle it. Good Sleep is a must... Good exercise is a must (No need to go for a GYM, you can do from where ever you are at your convenient and at your capability)... Good Nutrition plays a major role and spending good time with people having Positive mental attitude is another key... Thank god for blessing me with all these 4 pillars. Most importantly, we need to change our food habits with proper and balanced nutrition. It is a lifestyle change.

# I think in life you should work on yourself until the day you die.

As we had worked on the metabolic wellness my weight loss is sustainable. At the age of 49, I feel healthier and younger. Weight Management is a long time approach for a healthy life. With proper nutrition and effective exercising routine anyone can lead a healthy happy life.
